Accountant (Consolidation) Job Opening in New York, New york - Job Description: * Assist in the consolidation of the firm wide income statement and balance sheet as well as the compilation of segment income statements * Prepare and maintain financial statement reports in support of the internal and external reporting processes * Prepare quarterly disclosures and analytics for management review * Assist in the conversion of a reporting application from HFM (Oracle) to BPC (SAP) * Perform data and analyze data differences * Microsoft Excel report conversion/creation Skills Required: * Experience in financial consolidation, accounting and control * Experience with legal entity or segment reporting * Understanding of financial data and business process * Proficient in Microsoft Excel * Strong organizational skills * Strong attention to detail * Adaptable to changing demands of a fast paced environment * Ability to prioritize and multi-task Skills Desired: * Knowledge of financial reporting applications and accounting information systems * Strong technical skills particularly in the use of Excel for data manipulation and macros * Knowledge of Oracle HFM and SmartView * Knowledge of SAP and EPM
