Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree preferred in health or wellness related field, an equivalent of training and experience may be considered.
Licensed/Certified in one of the above curriculums or license eligible preferred.
2+ year?s health or wellness related experience.
Excellent inter-personal skills, able to build relationships with alumni, families and others. Knowledgeable of social networking, social media skills (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and on-line communications.
Public speaking and presentation skills.
Knowledgeable of public relations.
Detail oriented, good written and verbal communications.
Self-starter, highly motivated, ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
Active listening skills.
Proficiency in computer software skills such as Microsoft Word and Excel
Job Description: The Recovery Services Director provides leadership for coordination of the agency recovery programs. The Director has knowledge of the agency?s clinical philosophy and program and is committed to recovery principles. Consistently demonstrates agency values of uncompromising care, relentless compassion, and unconditional encouragement of the recovery journey. Works in conjunction with Agency Leadership Team to develop and implement an annual Recovery Services S.T.E.P. Meets with program discharge planners to introduce the recovery program and discuss recovery program engagement and transition. Develops and manages recovery communication forums including but not limited to recovery section on Agency website, recovery newsletter and recovery database Must maintain schedule flexibility to facilitate evening and week-end recovery meetings and events. Identifies, plans and facilitates recovery events, community outreach and marketing activities for alumni and their families to promote excellent customer services (Raving Fans) throughout the organization and community. Reviews resident and recovery satisfaction surveys and the results of monitoring standards. Oversees recovery volunteers. Supports other agency events including; Marketing, Development, Educational, Training and others. Other duties as assigned.
