This skilled individual will be responsible for overseeing the new car marketing, inventory control, along with negotiating and closing of new vehicle deals. This individual will have to be a team player ready to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
Job Responsibilities
As an Automotive Sales Representative, you will be required to provide the best in customer service and sales assistance to our customers. You will also be required to consistently achieve sales goals.
Specific duties for the Automotive Sales Representative include:
Conduct walk-arounds with customers and demonstrate automobile features
Accompany customers on test drives
Create and maintain relationships with customers
Follow-up with customers
Respond to customer email inquiries and use online resources to develop new business
Job Requirements
As an Automotive Sales Representative, you must have an engaging and high-energy personality, and the ability to build rapport and develop trust with customers. You must also have a strong work ethic, work well as part of a team and take pride in the work you do.
Specific qualifications for the Automotive Sales Representative position include:
Minimum 3 years of automotive retail experience
Proven positive track record in volume, gross and customer satisfaction reports
Prior knowledge on purchasing and maintaining inventory preferred
Valid driver?s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Professional appearance and demeanor
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
