MANDT VR is seeking a talented and experienced individual to be our Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, you will be involved with every major department of the company, helping us to streamline our business model, establish our technological vision, and provide technical leadership and training for our team members as we move into the future. The ideal applicant will be organized, creative, and driven, able to anticipate market trends, rapidly synthesize complex information, and find clear and innovative solutions to challenges as they arise.
Responsibilities include:
Establish technological vision for MANDT VR and lead all aspects of company?s development in this realm
Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and key developments
Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings and when making hiring decisions
Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity
Spearhead IT projects to increase our market reach and better our performance
Negotiate with outside business contacts, mentor engineering staff, and be a bridge between the business and technology interests of the company
Qualifications and skills:
BS, Computer Science or similar required / MBA preferred
7+ years? software engineering experience
Deep understanding of video technologies and systems?everything from HDMI to 4K to codecs and acquisition formats
Proven track record of success in leadership positions
Clear and effective communicator, able to inspire all levels of staff
Strategic and proactive thinker
Ability to write and present well
