Position: Accounting Bookkeeper / Clerk
Hours: M - F 8am ? 5pm
Reports To: Accounting Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
Bookkeeper/Clerk is responsible for all aspects in an accounting function in the accounting department. This team member will be responsible for processing accounts payable, reconciling company credit card, intercompany transactions and loan statements, maintain construction budgets, cost accounting, process bank loan draws, process and pay bills/loans, maintaining electronic and paper vendor files. In addition, this person will be responsible for entering receipts, journal entries, some accounts receivables, and performing general office duties within the company. These duties will range from filing, answering phones, copying and data entry. Delwest offers competitive pay with a generous vacation package. Delwest does not provide medical benefits.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Accounting or Finance degree is a plus
2 - 4 years of financial and/or accounting experience required
GL experience preferred- (Month End Close, Account Reconciliations, etc.)
Strong Excel skills required (must be familiar with pivot tables and lookups)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Must be able to work in a fast-pace small office environment and be a team player

Salary: $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year
