Full Charge Bookkeeper Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - Leviathan Security Group is a decade old cybersecurity professional services organization in Seattle's SODO neighborhood. We are seeking a full-time, experienced bookkeeper capable of matching the speed at which our industry is growing. The right candidate will be a QuickBooks Ninja, able to multi-task, meet deadlines, focus on the big picture, have a professional attitude and show initiative and drive. Demonstrable bookkeeping experience is required, as well as a good working knowledge of basic accounting and AP/AR principles and at least two years of experience working with QuickBooks. Good communication skills are a must.
Duties include:
Maintain and balance general ledger including bank reconciliations
Prepare client invoices,
Process Accounts Receivable
Process bills and Accounts Payable
Prepare and pay excise, sales and use, and payroll taxes
Liaise with outside CPA firm to assist in preparation of federal and state income taxes
Process payroll
Prepare financial reports
Assist manager in projecting and managing cash flow
Time and resource estimation experience a plus
Qualifications:
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
4 years of bookkeeping experience preferred
Experience with payroll, payroll tax, and sales tax
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented with top notch organizational skills and follow through
Ability to multi-task and maintain multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
Self-motivated with the ability to time manage and work independently as well as with team members
Associates or Bachelor?s degree in a related field strongly preferred
