Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Job Opening in Vancouver, Washington - We are currently seeking an experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in our Vancouver, WA office. The successful candidate will manage client relationships directly and be responsible for tax preparation services for existing private and business clients and working closely with our dynamic Financial Services Team. Job Duties Include:
Conducting tax interviews with clients
Preparing individual, state, trust, estate, & corporate tax returns
IRS audit support
Growing existing tax practice
Working closely with our financial services team provide high quality service to existing clients
Continuing education and ongoing professional development
Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client and firm expectations
Tax planning and research
Qualifications:
Credentials: Certified Public Accountant (active)
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
A minimum of 5 years recent tax preparation experience
Understanding of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
Ability to work independently on complex returns
Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Great communication skills and ability to work closely with clients
Strong computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks, and Lacerte or comparable tax software
Audit/Compilation Experience
Enjoy additional learning and educating clients
Ok with varied schedule
Limited Travel across branch offices
