ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF SALES - now hiring at The BROWN HOTEL Job Opening in Louisville, Kentucky - Associate Director of Sales:
The ideal candidate for this position is an established sales manager in the Louisville, KY area.
The Brown Hotel is a Louisville legend love since 1923, recently named by Travel+ Leisure Magazine as one of the TOP 500 HOTELS IN THE WORLD, by Conde' Nast Traveler as THE #10 HOTEL IN THE SOUTH & by Southern Living Magazine as THE BEST HOTEL IN KENTUCKY.
Essential Functions:
Build relationships with clients and make personal visits to target companies within local/regional market.
Responsible for the corporate and/or association sales market
Dedicate time to direct telephone sales, internet prospecting and direct cold calls within the market.
Maintain existing account files and solicit new accounts.
Set-up site inspections and follow through with outstanding presentations to clients.
Represent the property at trade shows pertinent to assigned market and attend meetings, seminars and functions through membership in professional associations.
Requirements:
Prefer no less than 3+ years of experience in the corporate and/or association sales market.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Aggressive, outgoing and self-motivating individual with a professional appearance and pleasant personality.
Ability to travel periodically and have a valid driver?s license with a clean driving record.
Solid knowledge of all MS Office programs, experience with Delphi software is a definite plus.
