Staff Accountant Job Opening in Cary, North carolina - Growing Cary, NC based CPA firm seeks detail-oriented staff accountant to provide accounting, bookkeeping and tax services to its diverse client base of small and medium-sized businesses.
Candidate should possess:
Solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles and experience in the recording of diverse accounting transactions
Ability to analyze source transactions of AR, AP, payroll, and sales tax, and perform bank and GL account reconciliations
Experience in the preparation of payroll tax returns and payroll processing. Experience in the preparation of individual tax and small business income tax returns a plus.

Structured, organized approach with proactive mindset
Excellent communication skills
Advanced QuickBooks proficiency (both QuickBooks online and desktop versions)
Five or more years of accounting and tax services experience; previous work in public accounting is a plus
