Digital Revenue Analyst Job Opening in Brooklyn, New york - Overview:
The Digital Revenue Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on Sales and Revenue data for all of VICE?s digital properties. In addition, this position will also support the Finance, Sales, and Sales Support Teams in the packaging and financial set up of commercial programs.
The role will be concentrated within the Digital Business Line of VICE, but will also gain exposure into our Television, News, and Creative Agency commercial operations.
Responsibilities:
Build and improve digital revenue reporting set in collaboration with Sales Operations, Finance, and Yield teams with a focus on bridging Traffic, PVs/ VVs, Impressions, Vertical/ Product Mix, Pipeline and Booked Revenue
Work closely with Sales Operations and FP&A to ensure accurate and timely revenue forecasting and reconciliation, supporting weekly reporting requirements as needed
Assist Director of Finance & Operations with pricing and packaging of commercial deals on a daily basis
Support Project ID workflow, working with Finance and Program Managers to ensure correct project setup in Salesforce
Partner with Accounting to assist in monthly revenue accrual process
Partner with Accounting to produce margin focused analyses with data from disparate sources
Project based cost budgeting and reporting process; connect this process with the overall monthly financial closing and reporting process
Ad hoc support with KPI analysis/ tracking, budget reforecasting exercises, monthly financial reporting, and corporate level assignments
Requirements:
2+ years proven quantitative analytical abilities, including high proficiency in Excel
1+ years of experience in the digital media industry with exposure to revenue/finance
Experience with Salesforce and Operative report building highly preferred
Undergraduate degree with strong academic performance in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or other quantitative field
A passion for analytical work with strong quantitative skills, but also a proven ability to analyze and communicate complex business problems in simple terms as well as enforce established policies and procedures
Able to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic growth environment
