Mardian is an established multi-state Equipment Dealer offering over 30 years of quality service in Equipment Sales; providing one-stop shopping opportunities in Equipment Rentals; Parts & Rigging Sales; and Service that exceeds our competitors by providing Factory Trained Mechanics. Mardian is an Equipment Dealer for Link-Belt cranes, Elliott boom trucks and aerial work platforms, Fassi knuckle booms, Shuttlelift carry deck cranes, National boom trucks, Manitex boom trucks, Magni telehandlers, Gradall Excavators and Schwing concrete pumps.

Ideal candidate will have strong ability to seek out sales opportunities. Excellent people skills, prior experience with equipment sales and/or equipment rentals, and a sound track record with exceptional customer service are critical for this position.
We are seeking to add a member to our sales team that has strong experience in serving existing customers, expand current services to existing customers, and searching out new sales opportunities.
Make regular sales calls to develop new relationships and follow up on leads in a timely manner.
Visit prospective customers and create a customer relationship, identify customer needs and establish buying and utilization cycles.
Identify new opportunities to network with new customers or new referral sources in your assigned territory to increase current market share.
Take the initiative to discover additional sales opportunities within existing accounts.
Maintain contact with existing customers to increase timely awareness of opportunities that present themselves based upon knowledge of the customer?s business needs.
Provide sales service and support of all jobs and customers in your assigned territory.
Maintain a list of all sales proposals that were not engaged by customers and determine specific reasons why the sale was not awarded to the Company.
Develop plan in overcoming customer rejections and be motivated to identify new techniques.
Maintain a weekly sales call report to include segment reporting.
Represent the Company at new and existing association events.
Attend and provide necessary data at all sales meetings.
Keep management aware of all aspects of market trends and analysis.
Meet established sales quotas and revenue goals as determined by management track record with success in being a part of a Sales team.
Relationship Management & Communication:
Promote and maintain strong communication and productive relationships with Sales Team, Management and Field personnel.
Keep personnel informed on any special requirements for jobs and/or customers.
Assist management in resolving personnel problems when experience working in a Sales position focused on equipment sales and/or equipment rentals is important.
Technical Sales Knowledge:
Assist with site inspections and assessment of hoisting requirements.
Demonstrate a complete knowledge of the Company?s products and services offered.
Keep informed on the products and services offered by the Company?s competitors.
Proactively seek out information to increase your knowledge of new equipment and services that are of interest to business acumen and high attention to detail with excellent customer focus is imperative for this role.
Administration:
Provide and maintain accurate quotations to customers and dispatch department.
Prepare accurate and complete orders for dispatch.
Ensure that the establishment of new credit for new customers and existing credit for current customers adhere to the Company credit policies.
Assist with timely resolution of customer disputes.
Provide assistance when requested by credit department on customer account collection.
Provide timely information for potential invoice credits to customers.
Prepare accurate, complete and timely expense reports.
Candidate Requirements:
5+ years in a Sales Position
Excellent prospecting, presentation and selling skills
Strong analytical skills
Excellent people skills ? proven record at being a part of a team
Professionalism and business savvy
The ability to succeed in a competitive environment
75% travel within assigned territory
