Sales Representative Job Opening in Kansas City, Kansas - Taylormade Co is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to promote our playground and recreational surfacing products and services to the Midwest territory; including the states of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. Website
Travel within the assigned territory is required and will include overnight travel. We anticipate overnight travel to be, at a minimum, 50% of the position expectations. Occasional travel outside of territory. Must live locally to be able to check in at Kansas City office.
Target audiences to be called on include parks and recreation directors and departments, public works departments, landscape architects, churches, day care centers, public and private schools, and any other organization or facilities that may benefit from our product and service offerings.
Requires strong communication skills, self discipline, and the ability to work independently.
Must be comfortable with making cold calls
Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation

Core responsibilities include:
-Identifying key influencers within territory, introduce & promote company products/services and develop long term relationships as preferred vendor.
-Breaking into new accounts currently not aware of our products or services
-Respond, qualify and prioritize multiple leads.
-Frequent meetings with individuals and groups with varied levels of interest and knowledge of product
The position can pay anywhere from $25,000 to $100,000+ based on experience and sales drive
