The Accounting-CTMS Specialists primary role is the subject matter expert for Circuit?s Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS). This position will consult with users and management personnel to define system requirements, identify input and output needs, and assist in the set-up and maintenance of new and ongoing clinical studies in Circuit?s CTMS systems. This position independently maintains the system and trains Circuit CTMS users. This position also produces appropriate financial data and provides analysis to management.
To meet Circuit?s challenging and growing operational requirements, this position requires a highly motivated individual comfortable with rapid changes in directions and environment. The successful candidate will be service oriented, results driven (i.e. metrics oriented) and passionate about building and maintaining a cost-efficient technology product that meets the organization?s growth requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
CTMS Functions:
Create CTMS system specifications to meet business requirements and participate in the development of clinical study budgets, analysis and solutions.
Document and maintain support for all CTMS costing assumptions.
Create and maintain documentation of all CTMS system capabilities.
Work jointly with the Clinical Staff to develop their processes and meet their reporting needs.
Answers questions and provides technical assistance to CTMS system users.
Actively assist in preparing the clinical studies budgets and protocol, input and maintain CTMS data, and provide the Controller with applicable accounting data.
Assist in the negotiation of clinical study budgets with sponsors and CROs
Coordinate with CTMS vendor to maintain and upgrade the system, as well as resolve any issues.
Accounting Functions:
Assist in clinical trials receivables preparation and management.
Assist in clinical trial related payables, including physician investigator payment and patient stipends.
Assist in the annual budget preparation.
Provide analysis for annual budget variances and forecast purposes.
Conduct special projects as directed by the Controller and/or CFO
Qualifications:

BSBA in Accounting/Finance.
3-5 years accounting and finance experience.
Experience in health care with additional experience in the ?Clinical Trial Industry? is a plus.
Database management experience is a plus.
Experience with Clinical Trail Management Systems, specifically Clinical Conductor is a plus.
Knowledge of Health Care Security policies and guidelines.
Extensive knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Travel:
Position requires minimal travel.
