ENGINEERING PLANNER Job Opening in oneonta, New York - ENGINEERING PLANNER Job Description: ENGINEERING PLANNER needed for Aerospace firm - Work Instructions, Bill of Materials, Routers, Material Master Setups, Planning We are an Orange County company looking for ENGINEERING PLANNER who can drive the best practices and principles in support of release of products to the assembly and fabrication operations. You'll need a depth of background in creating BILLS of MATERIALS from Engineering BOMs and drawings. Additionally, you will have the responsibility to create work instructions that combine with the MATERIAL MASTER SETUPS to form the release package for production. You will be part of the team working with our partner (Boeing, Airbus, Embraer) to deliver solutions to the airlines. In this role you?ll work with Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Control and the rest of the Supply Chain team to create a smooth hand-off to production while continuing the responsibility over Design Change Requests. In this role you will be part of the integrated product team driving toward successful First Article acceptance. As part of the Supply Chain group you will join us in the journey to full compliant Lean Manufacturing and DFFT processes. Additionally, you will participate in the goal of maintaining zero delinquencies with documents, as well as use your analytical skills to predict trends in support of out Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process. You MUST have the following: -5 years? experience as an Engineering Development Planner supporting the process of Engineering release to production in the aviation industry. -Experience establishing processes and methodology around Configuration Management. -Solid Production Planning, Inventory Control and Purchasing experience. -Experience creating Design Change Requests and managing Drawing Change Notices -BS/BA degree.
