Field Sales and Service Director Job Opening in San Antonio, Texas - Job Description Overview:
Steves and Sons Door Manufacturing is currently seeking a qualified individual for an Outside Field Sales and Service Manager position. This position will manage our Home Depot retail store sales and service program. The position will reside in San Antonio, with regular travel required.

This position is responsible for supervising all Field Service Representatives to provide customer service, drive sales activities to support, develop, and drive top line sales growth of the Steves & Sons door business through the Home Depot retail chain.
Duties:
Represent Steves & Sons in an upstanding professional manner.
Manage a team of 5-10 full-time Field Sales and Service Representatives (FSR)
Responsible for HR management and leadership of FSRs team to include:
Coach, mentor, and provide ongoing performance feedback
Conduct routine quality walks and generate reports to drive execution of established merchandising, service, and sales standards.
Manage and lead the FSR execution of key areas of focus (associate training, product POGs, display/POP integrity, consumer interaction, and sales/exception reporting).
Responsible for the overall performance and manage the teams metrics including sales, safety, quality, and productivity. * Manage stock mix with concentration on correct assortment, rate of sale, safety, and best practices set and provide feedback to Account Management team for any change opportunities.
Support and train Store Associates to grow special order and Pro Business. This may include blue print takeoff assistance, jobsite visits and pro-sales focused events.
Provide excellent customer service - resolve customer, store associate, and management concerns/issues.
Manage the work of the Merchandising Execution Team (MET) and develop MET training service guides and submit needed MET special projects.
Conduct store walks, audits, and training with MET teams to develop and strengthen relationships with MEMs and MERMs.
Develop and strengthen relationships with RMMs through regular walks and reporting.
Monitor business trends, customer intelligence, consumer and trade attitudes, competitive practices, and product performance characteristics and communicate back to the leadership team.
Qualifications:
College degree in business, sales or marketing is preferred or equivalent industry experience.
Experience in Door Millwork sales a plus.
5+ years of in-store merchandising service or outside sales experience, with management experience in a regional/leadership role is preferred.
Proven track record of leading successful regional service/sales teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all customers and leaders at all levels
Strong leadership abilities to manage and counsel direct reports and build effective teams.
Ability to travel extensively and work non-standard hours.
Excellent time management skills.
This is a salaried position that includes car allowance. Salary varies proportional with experience and qualifications.
