Software Engineer Job Opening in Minneapolis, Minnesota - ITM TwentyFirst is seeking a software engineer who has a genuine interest in learning, implementing and solving complex problems. Our ideal candidate is someone with 1-3 years of experience working on a full-stack. We need someone who can adapt quickly and add value to our fast paced, growing business and also someone who can contribute collaboratively within our software development team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Builds software applications ? Follows coding standards, builds appropriate unit tests, integration tests and deployment scripts
Assists in refining software architectures ? Collaborates with leads to explore existing systems, determines areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learns the applications capabilities
Communicates continually with the client and project teams ? Explains progress on the development effort
Owns success ? Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions
Participates in the UI/UX design in order to deliver functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance
Contributes to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to user interface, software architecture or new technologies
REQUIRED SKILLS
4-year degree in computer science or a related field
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies
Experience with JavaScript and at least one object oriented language
Great problem solving and design skills, with demonstrated passion for quality
Takes initiative and is able to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to communicate effectively
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience with , , and Bootstrap
Knowledge of C#, Framework, and
Experience with Relational Databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres)
