Accounting Manager Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - ReconCPA is seeking an Accounting Manager to manage several client accounts. Position reports to the Managing Partner.
Responsibilities:
Manage end to end accounting and management activities for several clients
Participate in the hiring, training, and scheduling, of resources necessary to complete each engagement
Ensure effective communication with clients and ReconCPA team members
Review clients' financial data and ensure accuracy
Complete client billing and accounts receivable followup
Meet and foster relationship with potential clients
Proactive approach to documenting support work papers and improving processes
Prepare and ensure accuracy of monthly firm financial statements
Prepare individual, business, sales and payroll taxes
Potentially lead a division of ReconCPA with minimal supervision
Assist with special projects as required
Requirements:
Proficiency in Quickbooks, MS Dynamics Great Plains, Oracle or other ERP
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required
Payroll and tax preparation experience required
Detail oriented, able to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
Able to communicate and work well with all levels of management
2 to 5 years experience in Accounting
Education:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance required
Master's degree candidate preferred
Certifications:
CPA candidate preferred
Hours:
Mon-Fri, 10AM to 3PM
Flextime allowed
