PURPOSE
Manage both direct and indirect channel partners to maximize revenue in the assigned territory.
OFFICIAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to : Prolume Director of Sales
Direct Reports : None
Department(s) Interacts with : Inside Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Operations and Finance
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage regional manufacturer?s representatives to maximize design wins and revenue
o Conduct product and policy training at man Reps facility
o Perform joint sales calls with man rep personnel to architects, lighting designers and all others in the project chain within the defined territory
o Evaluate and assess rep performance and make changes as required
o Interview, select and hire appropriate rep in each territory as needed
o Attend rep and industry regional trade shows as required
· Continuously build a pipeline of new sales opportunities which includes the entire product portfolio
· Work in conjunction with the assigned Inside Sale Representative to support sales reps, architects, lighting designers and others in the project chain
· Regularly log activities, opportunities and interactions in the corporate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
· Maintain a thorough understanding of existing and planned new products
· Prepare for and participate in weekly sales meeting
· Monitor and communicate market trends, programs, competitive activities and field knowledge back to the organization
· Perform other related and required duties as needed and requested by management

JOB REQUIREMENTS / HIRING PROFILE
Qualifications
· Bachelor?s degree in business, communications, sales, marketing, engineering or other related discipline
Work Experience
· 5+ years of successful sales experience
· Direct and indirect sales management desired
· Demand creation experience with manufacturer?s representatives, architects, lighting designers and others within the complete project chain
· LED Lighting experience a plus
· Architect and lighting designer experience a major plus
Knowledge
· Strategic Selling, Focused Selling or Value Selling knowledge
· Working knowledge of Salesforce a plus
