Scope of the Role includes:
Reporting to the regional sales manager, you will be a key member of the Paraco Gas residential / commercial sales team.
We are seeing tremendous growth for energy services offered by Paraco Gas throughout Fairfield County and New Haven County. As a result, you will have the opportunity to achieve maximum sales profitability by promoting and selling industry leading products and related services.

Essential responsibilities will include:
Effectively educating consumers on offered products and services helping customers to select the best products and services suited to their needs.
Meeting with prospective clients and developing proposals to secure their business while continuing to provide support and creative energy solutions for current clients.
Adding new business on a consistent basis by establishing relationships with potential customers.
Developing growth action plans.
Utilizing your proven prospecting and cold calling techniques.
Selling and closing sales appointments set by our inside sales professionals.
Acquiring and closing referral leads from existing customers and networking partners.
Following up with open leads within 24 hours of initial visit.
Developing account retention plans to build customer loyalty and to protect customer base from competitive threats.
Achieving individual account sales objectives and completing daily logs and weekly reports in a timely manner.
Participating in trade shows, conventions and local networking events promoting products and services.
Working with our customer service professionals you will expedite resolution of any customer issues.
We?re looking for the following abilities and skills :
A proven track record in business to business sales with strong selling skills, techniques and the ability to close a sale to meet assigned sales goals and quotas.
A fun, engaging and outgoing professional who possesses very strong selling skills with the ability to close a sale.
Field sales experience is highly preferred as this role requires ability to travel within assigned local territory.
An entrepreneurial and achievement mindset with the comprehension that weekends and night hours may be required at times to develop and foster business relationships.
The ability to gain a detailed comprehension of offered products and services to positively interact with current and prospective customers in finding and sharing the best solutions.
Demonstrated success in handling high dollar-sales transactions and large bids.
Exceptional communication, networking, organizational, time-management and negotiation skills.
Be excited about a salary and commission-based position with the opportunity to earn close to a six figure income.
Possess a reliable motor vehicle, valid driving license with clean driving record. (Generous car allowance will be provided).
Be available to work and accessible at all times to develop relationships with accounts.
