Regional Sales Manager Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for obtaining new business within the multifamily housing industry by offering cloud-based leasing solutions to apartment owners and operators. You will be part of one of the most exciting and fastest growing companies in the industry. A successful candidate will have a strong sense of personal accountability when it comes to completing assigned activities and a history of exceeding revenue growth goals.
The Regional Sales Manager is a high-energy, driven professional with sound business skills, strong technical aptitude and natural sales instincts. As an RSM you will gain experience interacting with clients of all levels in the multifamily housing industry across a broad geographical area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify self-sourced key prospects and utilize qualified sales skills to advance them through the opportunity pipeline.
Work cross-functionally with Sales Development Representatives in qualifying and scheduling new business appointments with a goal of 1 per week or 4 per month.
Ensure maximum revenue generation by maintaining adequate volume in the sales funnel through a minimum of 75 distinct prospecting activities per week, and recording these activities appropriately in Salesforce.
Proactively create effective Call Plans for each new business meeting.
Develop and comfortably execute presentations of company products and services.
Record 2 prospect demos per month and upload the recordings to internal systems. These will include well-thought-out self-evaluation notes and demonstrate an ability to effectively deliver the On-Site value proposition.
Recommend changes of products and services by evaluating client business requirements in connection with new product developments and releases.
Coordinate company staff necessary to accomplish the work required to close sales.
Engage in prospect follow-up to ensure continued advancement through the pipeline funnel, and, upon winning a deal, enter into contract negotiations as well as follow protocol.
Stay informed of the current marketplace trends by monitoring competition and gathering information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, etc.
Maintain transparency and communication with management team by documenting and updating activity, call reports, and territory analyses.
Close 2000 new business units per month.
Minimal Requirements:
Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of three years formal field sales experience
Documented record of exceeding assigned sales quotas
Ability to identify, qualify and prioritize prospects
Knack for comfortably presenting products and solutions in group settings
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Experience with contact management software like Salesforce or similar is a plus
Able to travel
This person will be a self-motivated, hard-working, and detail-oriented
Must have a can-do attitude, work well in a team environment and be committed to the process of continual self-improvement.
