VacOne Services LLC is seeking an Accounts Receivable / Billing Specialist to join our growing AR Team in Deer Park, TX. We are looking for a strong and dependable individual as we are experiencing growth. This position will be responsible for accounts receivable and billing functions for a designated section/region.
Job Duties:
Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
Performs basic accounting such as reconciliations and adjustments pertaining to their project and billing role
Prepares invoices to specs ? T & M, Lump Sum, Progress Billing, etc.
Submits invoices to customers via email, mail and portals
Tracks status of invoices submitted to Customers
Monitors customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
Identifies issues and works to address and resolve quickly
Replies to customer queries promptly
Maintains/updates customer contact information in accounting system
Verifies validity of accounting discrepancies through research
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Recent 2-4 years of solid Accounts Receivable and Billing experience within the oil and gas industry
High degree of customer service and professionalism
Previous collections experience
Must be able to demonstrate intermediate level skills in MS Excel and MS Word
Strong organization, time management skills and attention to detail
General Accounting knowledge
ERP software experience
