Sport Sales Rep (base + commission) Job Opening in Columbus, Ohio - Gamebreaker the HS Sports Magazine, based in Columbus, is expanding to 20 cities across the United States. Originally the very popular "Varsity Magazine," changed its name to Gamebreaker just this month, as it will expand all over the nation. For our Columbus market, we need (2) new Sport Reps to go to our clients and talk advertising. The Columbus edition is placed inside 350+ retail locations and 65 central Ohio High Schools for free.
Salary - Base + Commission.
Probationary period - 45 days before 1st review with District Manager.
Job task - This position is easy. You are to go out daily and talk to the community about Gamebreaker and its advertising options for the upcoming editions. You will need to think creatively on who you want to approach to buy Gamebreaker advertising.
Gamebreaker does a wonderful job creating a unique market of sports reporting for High Schools and their wide selection of athletes. We are not a "recap" magazine. We try to capture the whole story of the athlete (what motivates and drives them to become the best, what their futures hold, etc.). We take all that content and put it together with about 15 advertisements. Once complete, its dropped to 300+ stores and 60+ high schools.
