ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST
ARS/Rescue Rooter of Richmond
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support our service center accounting team. This is an outstanding opportunity for an energetic professional who is not afraid to roll their sleeves up and be an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment.
What You Need to Succeed and Grow with the Pros
Required Credentials:
Coding and input of invoices in QuickBooks, including 3-way match.
Vendor statement review and issue resolution.
Record manual checks as needed.
Process computer generated checks and prepare for review and mailing by corporate office.
Assist with month end accruals and close process.
Assist with annual preparation of 1099s.
Maintain Accounts Payable files.
Back-up support for billing and recording of cash receipts.
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Credentials:
A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent is preferred
Basic Accounting skills.
Excel proficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge and understanding of company policies, procedures, and practices.
Maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibilities.
Process technical and professional competency, demonstrated by work that is timely, accurate, organized, and clearly articulated with attention to detail.
Proficiency with desktop computers and software applications.
Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus.
