We are seeking a TAX MANAGER or higher located in our Lynchburg, VA office.
Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will possess 7+ years of public accounting experience in a tax environment, with a concentrated focus on complicated returns dealing with individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts and tax-exempt entities, including multi state taxation
Directs engagements, which includes the timeline, budget, schedule, and Associates required.
Will be responsible for several jobs at one time.
Provide overall leadership, supervision, training, and performance feedback to staff.
Develop business by expanding existing relationships with clients, maintaining personal networks, and participating in civic, business, and professional organizations.
Position Requirements
BA or BS in Accounting or related field required, Masters Degree preferred
7+ years of professional level accounting experience required
Strong skills in research and writing
CPA required
