Ingram?s Water and Air Equipment is looking for a qualified student to be part of various non-engineering teams during our full-time, summer internship program. These teams include Sales, Marketing, Accounting and Warehouse Operations.
The intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of e-commerce business.
Sales
Will dive into the industry by assisting our team of inside sales reps, outside sales reps, and product specialists in promoting and selling our products and services. Learn and explore the products and services offered. Responsibilities and assignments include:
Various inside sales responsibilities, including but not limited to, answering phone, taking orders, and other responsibilities.
Outside sales responsibilities including but not limited to, taking and processing orders from dealers for new and existing customers.
Perform data entry duties with regard to sales figures, metrics and other key data
Create and process sales orders in a timely fashion
Accounting
Will learn practical business accounting skills by assisting with processes:
Assist with month-end financial reports
Help with accounts receivable, payable
Work with the finance team on yearly forecasting efforts
Logistics and Warehouse Operations
Will assist with warehouse operations activities:
Shipment scheduling
Order fulfillment
Inventory management of incoming and outgoing shipments
Manage the monthly tracking of our physical inventory
Requirements:
Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices and ensures that employees observe all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injuries or damage.
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor/ mentor
Strong customer service skills both face-to-face and telephone
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid interpersonal skills, including tact and influencing with internal and external contacts
Strong computer aptitude

Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position.
