HR Manager Job Opening in ANN ARBOR, Michigan - DUTIES:

(1) Serving as a corporate manager of Human Resources for a global manufacturer;

(2) Providing guidance, oversight, and knowledge transfer regarding organizational human resource policy, procedures, processes, approved practice, as well as ensuring compliance with regards to U.S. domestic laws, regulatory requirements, etc.;

(3) Designing, developing, implementing, and monitoring corporate and organizational human resource policy, programs, procedures, as well as acting as valued resource and face/voice to the domestic employee stakeholder community with regards to human resource strategy, service offerings, and added value;

(4) Leading initiatives designed to bring added value and necessary change and compliance;

(5) Serving as a catalyst for continuous fostering of a positive working environment focused on constantly improving the quality of work life for employees and their families;

(6) Providing best in class training and knowledge transfer on human resource solutions, services, and practices to best serve the changing needs of the organizational workforce, and to encourage dynamic, positive, and valued relationships and a workplace culture that helps people feel valued, important, and ?wanted?;

(7) Supporting, enhancing, and fostering channels and outlets for recognition, rewards, and employee achievement and contribution;

(8) Leading and enhancing HR compliance and diversity initiatives;

(9) Leading and enhancing human resource and organizational capability and performance reviews, performance improvement, etc.;

(10) Leading and enhancing programs focused on consistent learning and growth for organizational employees while promoting and leading succession planning efforts on a proactive basis;

(11) Consistently reviewing organizational human resource goals, performance, metrics, and leading efforts and changes to ensure optimum performance in support of the most important element in the workplace---the employees.

REQUIRED:

MUST have a verifiable undergraduate degree (BA or BS or BBA) in Human Resources or Business or Psychology or Organizational Development or Labor Relations or similar. Certification s in HR (i.e. SPHR, PHR, etc.) as well as an advanced degree (i.e. MA or MS or MBA) in HR are highly preferred.

MUST have 5 years of STRONG/CURRENT corporate Human Resources experience focused on HR generalist duties designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing HR policy, process, procedures, programs, and channels focused on providing maximum value and service to a large corporate HR audience.

MUST have STRONG/EXPERT level HR management experience focused on functional knowledge of governmental regulations, laws, etc. with regards to employee hiring, treatment, etc.

MUST have 5+ years of STRONG/CURRENT HR management experience focused on HR policy, process, standards, programs, performance in a large global HR corporate organization.

MUST have superior stakeholder/employee relationship building skills acting as a positive and charismatic voice and face to the employee audience.
