Project Coordinator - Healthcare Job Opening in Grand Rapids, Michigan - Responsible for the coordination of patient recruitment and retention campaigns for clinical research studies. Primary responsibilities include assessing recruitment support needs of research sites, researching community and physician outreach opportunities, coordinating implementation of study awareness building activities with clinical research sites, conducting ongoing patient recruitment analysis, and serving as the primary liaison with the clinical research sites.
Support the assigned Project Manager to implement recruitment and/or retention campaigns including overall project plans and localized initiatives for participating sites.
Submit all patient-facing materials to study sponsors and Investigational Review Board (IRB) for approval.
Provide local IRB/EC submission packets to participating research centers and monitor approval status.
Coordinate the production and distribution of patient materials with Imperial personnel.
Establish and maintain on-going contact with study sites to ensure a high level of customer service and to assess sites? specific needs.
Coordinate, monitor and track all direct-to-patient (i.e., website, advertising, banner ads, etc.) response activity (# of calls, # screened, # enrolled).
Report study metrics in department meetings.
Maintains site communication records.
Maintains contact data base for assigned studies.
