Travel: None Relocation Covered: Yes, up to $2,000 Reference ID: 04-11-026 Description: In this key role, the CNC Swiss will perform all the necessary duties to maintain, create, change, and update CNC programs for all CNC Swiss equipment, using CNC programming software (MasterCam or equivalent, will train the right candidate) to facilitate the machining of customer components used mainly in the Medical (tools), Aerospace, and Military industries Key Role: ? Create and modify Swiss turn from customer supplied drawings and specifications ? Recommend and design tooling and fixtures to achieve blue print specifications ? Support shop floor employees during machine setup, operations in Swiss Department ? Work with sales to efficiently pre-engineer components cycles prior to receiving an order ? Programming and Machine Operation Requirements: 1. Programming for all operations of CNC Swiss equipment using CAM software and machine controls. 2. Experience in programming Swiss Machines 3. Ability to utilize MasterCam or similar drafting software. CAM based programming experience a plus. 4. Proficiency with the operation and set-up of all Swiss Machines. 5. Proficient in proper tooling selection for Swiss, cutters, inserts, drills, etc. to accomplish finished products in a most efficient manner. 6. Proficient in "G" code programming. 7. Blueprint reading and the ability to interpret drawings or solidwork files to program machines to manufacture the desired parts. 8. Assist the production department and setup person with any steps necessary to facilitate the manufacturing of required parts to meet production requirements. 9. Documentation of all set-ups and program identification for retrieval when required after the programs have been written and stored into the control memory or database. 10. Communicate well verbally and conduct business in a professional manner. 11. Work well in a team environment and willing to help in all areas of the operation in order to accomplish company goals and meet deadlines. 12. Use of precision measuring tools. 13. Familiar with Swiss Machines (example: Citizen, Hanwha, Star or equivalent) 14. Minimum 3 years experience in programming 15.
