Paralegal/Legal Research Assistant Job Opening in Annapolis, Maryland - Schooner Strategies is seeking a paralegal or legal research assistant with legal research experience, particularly in healthcare law and policy.
JOB SUMMARY
The Paralegal/Legal Research Assistant Candidate is responsible for researching, analyzing and summarizing case law and state and federal regulations and legislation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal person will have extensive LexisNexis legal research experience, the ability to analyze and summarize case law, and the skills to track and summarize state and federal healthcare related regulations and legislation.
He/she will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to follow oral and written instructions, and the ability to work independently.
The candidate must possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced, growing company.
2+ years of experience.
The Law Clerk/Paralegal candidate will report directly to the Director of Legal Affairs.
This position is open to current law school students, law school graduates, paralegals, and licensed attorneys.
