RN/LPN 24 hour shift nurse Job Opening in Aiken, South carolina - United Energy Workers Healthcare - A Home Health Care Company is seeking to hire an RN or LPN to fill 12 and 24 hour shift positions in the greater CSRA area. Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse graduated from a State approved School of Professional Nursing with a current, unrestricted SC nursing license. The schedule is flexible.
This is a 1099 position with no health benefits.
Requirements:
-Must have at least 1 year of experience
-Basic computer skills
-Current CPR certification
-Current PPD
-Ability to pass an employment background check and drug test
-Strong communication skills and excellent bed-side decorum
-Valid driver's license,auto insurance, and one year clean driving record
Job Duties:
-Conducting nursing assessments
-Implementing in-home care as set forth in the client's plan of care
-Monitoring vital signs
-Educating clients and family members regarding nutrition, treatments, and safety risks
-Administration of medications, treatments, and therapies
-Preparing accurate, orderly, and timely reports and documentation
-Accompanying clients to doctor's appointments
-Assisting clients with ADLs (light housekeeping, food preparation, bathing, laundry, etc.
-Willingness to travel to visit client (paid mileage negotiable)
-Experience with home health preferred
