The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position provides quality nursing care to residents based on individualized client needs, according to dependent and independent nursing functions and conformance with recognized nursing techniques, and established standards based on the scope of practical nursing.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current registration with the state Board of Nursing and licensed as a practical nurse or registered nurse.
Minimum of six months experience as a staff nurse is preferred.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
3-6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS:
Ability to functions independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team.
Ability to follow the appropriate safety precautions.
Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of management and employees.
