BOOKEEPING/ADMIN ASSISTANT Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - Randstad in Marietta is looking for a candidate to perform bookkeeping and administrative duties for a mid-size, very professional architecture firm in the Cumberland/Galleria area. This is a temp to hire opportunity paying 18-19.25/hr. The ideal candidate will be familiar with phased fee billing, or Progressive Billing (Pay when Paid) that would be optimal. We need someone who is a pro-active, enthusiastic about learning the client's procedures, and a team player. There will be duties with this position, so we need someone who is willing to do this portion of job with enthusiasm as well. We need someone with a professional appearance and demeanor to sit at front and be our "First Impression" to guests.

This position is a multi-tasks position that includes Bookkeeping, Marketing and Administrative Duties including Reception and Front Desk. I have broken down the description into 3 facets of the job. Ideally, the candidate would be someone who has worked in the Construction A/E industry and familiar with A/E billing systems.

BOOKEEPING: PREFERABLY QUICKBOOKS (60% Effort)
CLIENT BILLING AND CONSULTANT BILLING: We use a "Pay When Paid" system based on billing our clients a percentage of work completed each month. When we get paid we then pay any associated consultants. Detailed Record-Keeping and Organization are required.
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE: When checks are received there is a "process" to enter and allocate, and pay consultants out of money received.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE: This position will also be responsible for entering direct office expenses and keeping accurate records and filing. (i.e., rent, expense reports, utilities, etc.).
Working hours: 8 AM- 5 PM

Skills:
Bachelor's Degree (Accounting)
MARKETING: (20% Effort)
--MARKETING DATABASE: Help maintain and update marketing database in Excel or Access. Research for leads for potential clients.

--PROPOSAL HELP: Help in the production of proposals wherever needed. (i.e., research, making copies, binding, preparing for shipping)
DESK
General Office Duties Include: (20%)
--Answer phones, door coverage and greet guests
--Keep office supplies inventory and order as needed
--Check mail daily and distribute
--Other Admin duties as needed

SOFTWARE WE USE: -
--Quickbooks
--Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Publisher) Adobe Acrobat
