Construction Bookkeeper Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - We are an Arizona based building automation contracting company who is rapidly growing; we have been serving our customers for over two decades. We are a leader in K-12 school districts and municipality customer markets. Our purpose is to help schools and cities reduce their operating costs so that they can improve children?s education and offer better services to their citizens.
Construction Bookkeeper:
We are looking for a full time Bookkeeper who will be an integral part of our company operations.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Responsible for company financial statements, cash flow projections, job costs and profitability reports, billings, and collections
Coordinate with managers to ensure that contract revenues and costs are properly estimated and recorded properly in accordance with percentage completion method of accounting.
Performs monthly balance sheet account analysis.
budget vs. actual analysis for the company monthly.
Books necessary journal entries monthly.
Position Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Accounting software experience (we use Sage 100 Contractor)
Microsoft Excel and Word experience
Decision-making abilities, accuracy and thoroughness, promptness and dependability.
Ability to independently organize, plan, and forecast workload.
Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along well with diverse employees / customers
