Real Estate Controller Job Opening in New York, New york - A real estate Developer firm is seeking a Property Controller. The Property Controller will perform accounting for managed properties. The role provides the opportunity to enhance company procedures and internal controls. Responsibilities * Execute all aspects of monthly, quarterly and annual property financial reporting * Develop yearly operating budget, revised forecasts and five-year plan, with appropriate support * Maintain the property general ledger and subsidiary ledgers * Work with internal audit to test internal controls * Prepare property and other financial statements * Perform financial analyses to support special projects as assigned Requirements * At least three years of experience * Public accounting and/or private from real estate * Private and commercial property accounting preferred * Strong real estate corporate accounting experience. CPA major plus
