Outside Sales Representative Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - Position Overview: The OES Group is an independent manufacture rep agency with a 25 year history. An Outside Sales Representative for OES is required to maintain and increase profitability for The OES Group and market share in a geographical area. This is accomplished through the development of good relationships with the customer based on knowledge, service, trust and integrity.
Responsibilities:
Daily sales calls on existing distributors and end users with emphasis on the sale of safety products and training.
Must continually prospect for viable new accounts while developing a keen awareness of what is happening within their designated geographic area.
Prepare reports of business transactions and sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales.
Prepare and communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales information and goals, competitive market conditions and product needs.
Markets that the outside sales representative is responsible for are industrial, construction, traffic control, oil and gas, mining, enviormental cleanup, food processing, government.
Distributor channels responsible for are safety supply, environmental supplies, industrial supply, construction supply, mine supply, fire equipment.

A college degree, Bachelor's or higher is required. Previous sales experience required.
This position requires the ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectable manner.
The candidate must have the ability to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.
Applicants must also be physically able to perform fall protection demonstrations and carry heavy samples.
Sales Representatives must travel in a vehicle that can carry a number of product samples, this may require an SUV.
Territory of responsibility is Utah, Idaho, Western Wyoming and Western Montana.
