Field Sales Specialist Job Opening in New York, New york - GraceKennedyLimited, established in Jamaica in 1922 has a varied network of some 60 subsidiaries and associated companies located across the Caribbean and in North and Central America and the United operations in the US, GraceKennedy Foods (USA) LLC (GKFoods), is rapidly expanding and because of this growth, we have an immediate opening for a Field Sales Specialist.
We are looking for innovative, team-oriented individuals with a passion for customer engagement.
Job include :
Develop and maintain an organized list of target accounts in the territory.
Sell Grace brand to retailers in coordination with local distributors.
Call on target accounts on an ongoing basis to review in-store priorities.
Enhance the business, brand visibility and availability by gaining new distribution.
Analyzes monthly sales reports to identify opportunities, assess under performing accounts or potential loss of distribution within the account.
Recap weekly in-market activity including photos, competitive brand activity, challenges and achievements.
Build creative, accessible displays in retail accounts using appropriate point of sales materials as needed.
Safely drive the promotional van to the targeted routes.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) ; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1 or more years experience in the Food/Beverage Industry (preferred but not required)
Computer Literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe products and email required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid driver?s license.
Must possess an excellent driving record.
Ability to lift boxes weighing approximately 30 lbs.
Professional and polite with great customer service skills.
This position would be ideal for candidates in the New York metro area.
