Centralizing the issues of black people throughout the African Diaspora while educating on the regal & political history of our people.
Origin Seul Magazine focuses on Black Excellence, History, Consciousness, Pan Africanism, Africa, Black Business, Health & Wellness, Fashion & Beauty, Entertainment, Politics, Music, and Art.
We are currently seeking 2 talented Advertising Sales Representatives of African descent. Individuals must possess a background in sales, marketing and advertising within publishing, entertainment and or media. Nonetheless all are encouraged to apply, if you have the necessary experience in sales, marketing and advertising within a different industry such as: finance, legal, government, pharmaceutical, and education. We are also looking for graduate students who possess a degree in Business Management, Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Media studies.
Your role will vary according to the nature of our magazine publication, Origin Seul. However, your day-to-day tasks are likely to include:
Persuading clients to buy advertising space or time.
Finding out who controls the advertising budget in target organizations and contacting them.
Explaining the benefits of our magazine Origin Seul. Using statistics from the general public within the black community to support the need for our magazine publication.
Offering a price and negotiating around it.
Closing the deal and recording the details.
Skills needed for the position includes:

Confidence and an outgoing personality
The ability to build relationships with customers
Diplomacy and patience
The ability to work under pressure and meet targets
Be good with numbers
This position is commissioned at 20% paying $12/hr. The position is currently Part-Time at 20hrs/Week.
