Sales Representative Trainee (reference orep1708) Job Opening in Madison Heights, Michigan - Behco-MRM is a quad-technology distributor & integrator providing motion control solutions with pneumatic, hydraulic, electro-mechanical, and collaborative robotic techniques.
The Sales Representative Trainee will enter a training program in the Customer Service department in order to learn about products, processes, procedures and customers. The goal is to train and advance this person into a professional Sales Territory Manager with responsibility for maintaining and growing sales in an assigned territory.
Responsibilities and Duties will include but not limited to:
Interfacing with customers via telephone, email, fax and in person
Act in a support role to the Sales Territory Managers, Account Manager and Product Mgr.
Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
Learn and use company ERP software to respond to customer inquiries
Communicate and work as part of a team; working toward shared goals
Assist in other departments when necessary
Skills and abilities required would be basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft office along with basic math skills. Must be outgoing, self confident, organized and manage time efficiently. Must be able to communicate clearly in English via written and spoken communication.
Bachelor's degree required in any field or study and no industry-specific experience required.
