Through our proprietary technique and IT infrastructure we are better able to service the needs of clients. In addition we are altering the value chain to better manage volatility and increase yields to those providing capital. Our team comes with considerable expertise across the reinsurance and insurance industry with a broad breadth of experience in delivering innovative new solutions to the market.
Compensation: Base pay commensurate with experience with substantial bonuses on offer.
Desired Qualifications:
Strong knowledge and experience of large corporate property and casualty insurance including: coverages, rating, terminology and technical procedures.
History of business development and submissions from direct production responsibilities.
Must be sales driven, ?people person? who likes to establish new relationships while learning communication strategies and sales methods.
Experienced in Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Reader. Ability to quickly learn new programs and applications.
Skilled in business writing and problem/situation analysis.
Creative thinking individuals who are able to look at alternative business opportunities and how to bring them to market.
Strong desire to learn and develop new skills.
Huge opportunity to grow with the business and to expand into more senior positions.
Ability to really drive forward thinking and not follow the status quo.
Responsibilities:
Target new business opportunities and bring them to the Finisee model.
Work to develop and grow the Finisee business as it develops.
Assess new business submissions and negotiate terms, by selecting the markets that can provide the most coverage at the best price.
Following submissions through the process, to assure quotes are provided in a timely manner and negotiate with all parties involved to reach an acceptable price.
Solicit new business through various sales and marketing techniques and begin establishing relationships.
Work as part of the leadership group driving commercial activities.
Develop the teams in the USA as the company expands and be at the forefront working with our foreign colleagues where essential.
Requirements
Must have an insurance brokers license.
Past experience growing teams in a greenfield operation
Masters Qualification preferred but not essential
Insurance Industry Qualifications an advantage
Ability to show previous new large scale business opportunities a big advantage
