Senior Accountant Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - Responsibilities include:
Monthly maintenance of general ledger.
Monthly review and reconciliation of asset and liability accounts with adjustment as necessary.
Inventory maintenance, including maintain and update costing information.
Assist with pricing various products.
Prepare monthly financial statements and provide analysis of changes for management consideration.
Accounts Payable invoice entry.
Assist with new accounting software installation.
Maintain/establish internal controls.
Other accounting related responsibilities as needed.
Required skills and experience:
Minimum of 5 years in general ledger accounting.
Bachelors degree in accounting.
Experience with Sage 300 accounting software, Microsoft Access and Crystal reports a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
