Midwest Sales Manager Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - Position Description
Responsible for the continued growth in sales turnover through Direct sales as well as motivation and direction of independent Sales Partners within assigned territory. Facilitate communication between representatives and JRMCI Corporate, and maintain sales levels equal to or greater than those bilaterally established (District Manager and JRMCI Management).

WI, IL, MN, IA, MO, ND, SD, NE and KS
Responsibilities
To sell directly and through qualified Sales Partners, the entire J.R. Merritt line of Control Systems and Operator Chair technology to all market segments within the assigned territory.
Follow up on leads generated through central marketing activity as well as those generated independently through cold calls, telemarketing, etc.
Meet or exceed sales volume quotas for direct and indirect sales turnover.
To review, recommend, and implement changes to the representative organization (as required) within assigned territories.
To monitor sales within assigned territories and report on progress, orders, Sales Partner information, and other data (content and frequency to be established by JRMCI Management).
First line technical service on issues pertaining to all equipment sold or previously installed within the specified geographic territory.
To monitor and report on competitive activity within the assigned territory and submit this information to the VP Sales and Marketing.
To identify new sales opportunities within the assigned territory and exploit each fully.
To produce monthly sales forecast, and annual budget reports on a rolling twelve month schedule by product (unit), sales representative, and dollar value.
Maintain and update sales database with activity and demonstration reports.
To oversee, plan, schedule, and provide technical support/training for existing products, and insure that all is provided to Sales Partners.
To organize and participate in J.R. Merritt and Partner sales meetings and open houses.
To participate and support regional and/or national exhibitions as required by JRMCI Management.
To participate in training programs as established by JRMCI Management.
For inventory issued directly to themselves and to the representatives under their control.
For the maintenance of the equipment, supplies and sales tools provided to them by JRMCI.
Requirements
Technical degree
Capital equipment sales experience
Representative management experience a plus.
Valid drivers licence
Ability to walk long distances and climb stairs while carrying twenty pounds of equipment.
