Seasonal Sales Associate B2B Job Opening in Wichita, Kansas - DEAN & DELUCA is a luxury multi-channel, international brand with a reputation for excellence in retailing. We aim to lead the marketplace in the exploration, discovery, and celebration of food from around the globe.
Dean & DeLuca has opportunities for Seasonal Sales Associates in our Business division. There are 3 shifts available between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm. Additionally, some weekend work may be required during the holidays. Pay starts at $11.00/hr.
As a Sales Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks related to sales, establishing, tracking, and achieving sales goals, as well as developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and selling a variety of corporate gifts, via telephone and email.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the sales effort - Enter orders, follow up with various departments, insuring custom needs are met.
Answer phone calls from the B2b queue; handle customer inquiries, taking orders, answering questions.
Prospect clients
Develop new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
Cold sales and relationship building through personal and business connections.
Maintain lead and sales tracking programs - Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
Build and maintain customer relationships via the telephone and internet.
Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
Requirements
3+ years direct-to-consumer experience
Complete understanding and expertise in the Sales Cycle, Customer Service Roles
Proven track record of sales support success
PC Literate
Ability to multi-task and to work under pressure
Self-starter, self-motivated
Experience in luxury goods or relevant field
Passion, Energy and Enthusiasm
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and people skills
Ability to connect with consumers and sell gifts without hard-selling. No used car salesman approach.
