Position: Inside Business Development Associate
Location: Glen Burnie, MD
Role and Responsibilities
The candidate will have a keen focus on new business development within the target areas. Responsible for supporting the sales team through funnel development and opportunity identification. We are looking for someone with a hunter-mentality. Prior IT or telecommunications industry experience is preferred but not required.
· Focus on new business development within assigned verticals and new customers.
· Identifying new project opportunities within the healthcare, hospitality, higher education, and data center markets.
· Maintaining a high level of awareness of the competitive environment, technology marketing trends, and upcoming sales opportunities.
· Maintain a social media presence with partners and customers; constant networking.
· Driving new business opportunities and sustained growth; focusing on surpassing leads goals.
· Cold-calling
· Develop new relationships with general contractors, engineers, and architects.
· Work with C-level executives and decision makers to identify new business opportunities.
· Achieving a monthly target of new leads and business opportunities.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
2-5 years inside sales experience
Bachelor?s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills- written and verbal
Experience selling services or goods within the technology sector market
High energy, drive, and ambition
Computer proficiency: Microsoft Office suite of products, CRM systems, social media platforms
Preferred Skills
Preferred skills include: inside sales experience, well versed in technology terminology, Microsoft Office proficiency, cold-calling experience, hunting mentality, ability to be flexible in a high-paced environment.
