Clinical Trials Enrollment Specialist Job Opening in Glen Burnie, Maryland - CSSi helps clinical sites recruit patients for clinical trials. The Local Enrollment Specialist (LES) is a recruitment expert that was a study coordinator in the past that works with the sites to find best ways to recruit patients for studies. Study coordinator will communicate with site staff and sponsor clients, community groups, media specialists and others to coordinate recruitment activities.
Duties :
Identifies site client needs for patient recruitment activities including media and community outreach.
Communicates client timelines and requests to appropriate departments.
Develops site specific enrollment plans for the site to outline their patient recruitment activities.
Maintains regular communication with sites to monitor results and adjust recruitment strategies
Travels to sites to introduce services and/or coordinate recruitment efforts.
Motivates clients to focus on study patient recruitment goals.
Assists sites with patients contacts, chart reviews, etc, based on client requests.
Research and contacts appropriate physicians or community organizations on behalf of the site to assist with recruitment efforts.
When necessary, attends events on behalf of the site to assist in recruiting efforts.
Reports client trends to project management.
Other duties as assigned.

Previous study coordinator experience with recruitment duties required.
Ability to read and understand protocols for clinical trials, and assess subject eligibility criteria.
* Ability to show creativity in recruitment efforts.
Must be customer focused and past customer service experience is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Strong dedication to helping others and the skills to engage with healthcare professionals
Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to build and maintain good relationships with clients.
