Responsibilities
Meet new business sales goals and objectives
Prepare and present insurance quotes to potential customers
Follow up on leads and cross-sell current customers
Solicit for new business via phone and networking along with other activity
Qualifications Personal
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills mandatory
Must be at ease interacting new people in person and over the telephone
Must be a competent, confident, self-starter
Effective organization, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills are required
Willingness to learn and be coachable
Maintain an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude daily
Able to create relationships from a cold start
Experience Connecticut Property & Casualty Insurance License PREFERRED
2+ years experience as Sales Representative or Customer Service Representative preferred, but not required.
We are willing to license and train the right candidate.
