Radio Sales Executive Job Opening in Martinsburg, West virginia - Marketing Consultant Description:
West Virginia Radio Corporation of Martinsburg is seeking an aggressive, confident, and competitive professional with a solid background in outside business development and sales for their award winning, highly credible stations of Today?s 97.5, The BIG Dawg 95.9 and 93.7/1340 WEPM.
The main duties of a Radio Sales Executive include: establishing and developing long-term business relationships; sourcing, identifying and securing new business opportunities; generating creative solutions for clients; presenting campaign proposals; making the sale; and delivering accurate reports and forecasts of revenue.
Responsibilities:
Seek out prospective customer/business opportunities with new and existing customer.
Establishes and maintains customer relations in order to prow profitable sales.
Follows-up on all generated business to assure that the customer is being serviced and to document the outcome of the outcome of the proposed solution.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans.
Requirements:
A bachelor?s degree is desirable.
Prior media sales experience is an advantage.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must present and communicate in a professional manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be organized with good time management skills.
Possess proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the company.
Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications.
Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.
Other qualifications:
Be able to think creatively and generate original ideas.
Able to pay close attention to detail.
Be able to work calmly effectively under pressure, react quickly, and meet tight deadlines.
Be able to handle rejection.
Have the confidence and determination to pursue leads, overcome obstacles and secure deal.
