Regional Sales Manager OEM 2017-012 Job Opening in Charleston, West virginia - SeaStar Solutions is based in Richmond, BC Canada and has earned a reputation as a World Leader in the design and manufacture of hydraulic and thermal technology products for our target markets. Objective
The Sales Manager ? OEM oversees the sales and services of assigned products within the Proheat portfolio. In this outside sales role, you will be responsible for increasing revenues by developing and executing your sales plan. Your performance will be measured by the degree to which you uncover, quote, and close business deals.
Education & Experience
Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience as an outside sales representative.
Previous experience in the transit, school bus, motorcoach or heavy equipment industry is an asset.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute account plans for Proheat offerings primarily in the OEM transportation and heavy equipment segments.
Demonstrate exceptional Proheat product/solution knowledge to be successful in increasingly competitive environment.
Develop, maintain and increase sales within new and existing accounts.
Drive revenue through direct sells and channel partners. Meet monthly and annual sales and revenue objectives.
Work with product support and product management to present and demonstrate Proheat offerings to current and potential clients.
Identify and build relationships with customer key decision makers and contributors.
Execute assigned strategies working with appropriate internal teams to ensure business growth.
Understand goals and objectives for all accounts and have a thorough understanding of where opportunities exist.
Work with product management and engineering to define customer?s product?s needs, cost targets and schedules.
Manage the sales cycle from opportunity generation to post-sales account management:
Understand and communicate customer requirements.
Obtain and validate customer forecast requirements.
Present and explain quotations
Negotiate terms, conditions, prices, NRE and other required details.
Monitor customer satisfaction and implement corrective actions.
Maintain a high level of customer interaction at all times ? on the road or in the office.
Develop a proactive approach to customer management, anticipating impact of Proheat products resulting from competition, industry trends, etc.
Develop compelling proposals and responses to RFP requirements.
Grow the sales opportunity pipeline; maintain and present accurate sales forecasting.
Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Assist in annual sales forecasting and monitoring.
Complete additional job duties and assignments up to 15% of the time.

Ability to work independently, a motivated self-starter.
Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to manage a variety of tasks.
Strong proficiency with MS Office programs including: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; and, the ability to learn other applications quickly.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Must have real world experience working with individuals of diverse backgrounds and a respect for difference.
Professional demeanor whether in person, via email or on the telephone.
This is an outside sales position. The successful candidate must be willing to travel 50% - 75% of the time.
