Accounting Manager-CPA Job Opening in Santa Ana, California - JOB SUMMARY
This position will report directly to the President. The successful candidate must possess a high degree of motivation, a strong work ethic, and will thrive in a deadline-oriented environment. Provides hands on support and management functions in the areas of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cost Accounting, Payroll, Sales and Use Taxes, Inventory and Daily Cash Activities.
TASKS
Manage daily activities of accounts payable and account receivable
Supervise staff of two
Perform daily Closing procedures for ERP software and perform routine transactional audits of company operations
Manage outsourced payroll functions and related taxes
Manage compliance with Billings for Sales Contracts and special order manufacturing processes
Reconciliation of Bank accounts and Credit Cards
Review and approve Expense Reports
Manage Sales and Use Taxes and perform audits of Resale Certificate compliance
Manage accounting for Inventory Fulfillment operations
Perform Inventory Product Cost Analysis
Assist in developing, documenting and managing company internal controls
Develop and implement Policies and Procedures as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years? experience in related field, including supervisory experience
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting / Finance required
Experience in distribution and manufacturing preferred
Proven strong analytical skills and accounting technical knowledge.; US GAAP
