Marketing Platform Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - As a Senior Software Engineer on our Marketing Platform team, you will collaborate with designers, developers and product managers to develop and support Healthgrades? API services for our brand new custom suite of hospital- and decision-support Healthgrades Marketing Platform is a revolutionary product that moves beyond traditional healthcare CRM to help hospital marketers maximize marketing effectiveness and drive consumer engagement across their enterprise. By combining HG?s 15 years of experience as a leader in the healthcare CRM sector with world-class data technologies, industry proven data science capabilities, native digital marketing approaches, and comprehensive reporting and analytics, hospital marketers can meet patients and non-patients where they are in their journey to find and receive care. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
5+ years of professional software development with web technologies
Strong understanding of web-based architecture and technologies ( N-tier architectures, APIs, databases, scripting languages, browser based applications ).
Experience with one or more dynamic languages associated with modern web application development (such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, ? )
Experience building RESTful APIs .
Strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming and software development principles and best practices.
Experience with SQL databases ( Postgres, MySQL, ? ) and NoSQL databases ( ElasticSearch, Cassandra, DynamoDB, ?)
Understanding of version control techniques (such as Git )
Test-driven development (TDD) and creating unit tests.
Up-to-date knowledge of latest trends in web application development.
Familiar with Web APIs like Amazon EC2, Salesforce, Google, and Bing.
Ability to contribute to a culture of communication, collaboration and creativity.
Familiar with agile & scrum practices.
Education:
A Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
A strong candidate will have 5+ years of professional software development, a proven track record developing public-facing web applications and/or APIs, and a passion for technical innovation.
