Production Scheduler Job Opening in Oriskany, New york - Production Scheduler
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Production Scheduler is responsible to provide direction and leadership for all Planning, Scheduling activities. The Production Scheduler will provide technical and administrative support to meet TLC business strategic objectives and performance goals. Participation in capacity planning and insuring compliance with OSHA and ISO 9001 -2008 standards will also be required of this position.
The Production Scheduler will be expected to identify and implement improvements to planning and scheduling procedures and processes through the use of problem solving teams and utilization of internal and external resources.
In coordination with Sales, Production, Engineering and Accounting, this position will be responsible for developing and executing planned improvements to meet ongoing needs with respect to customer service and performance while meeting the financial objectives of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility

Master Production Planning
Inventory integrity
Rough-cut capacity planning
Systems support*

Maintain a trained staff to support business objectives*

Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Strong leadership, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills are essential
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office ?(especially Excel)
